Tintype-Pepper-box Revolver

Here is a cased 1/9th plate tintype of a Yankee armed with a pepper-box revolver. This unique revolver was popular just before the iconic Colt came on the scene. Different from revolvers one may be accustomed to, the Pepper-box had multiple rotating barrels instead of a cylinder.
