CDV of Union Daredevil

Here is an original CDV of a Union soldier taken at City Point. City Point, VA was the major logistics depot for the Army of the Potomac during the Overland Campaign. The image contains a camp scene backdrop featuring a sentry and the Star Spangled Banner. Our soldier is resting his foot on a live 12 lb Borman shell. This “dare-devil” soldier has captioned his image, “Who cares I don’t-Boots.”
