Ambrotype of Soldier with Corps Badge and ID Disc

Here we have an original Civil War image of a Union 2nd Corps soldier with Corps Badge and ID Disc. ID Disks were the Civil War version of the modern “Dog Tag.” Often you find images of a soldier wearing an ID Disk or a Corps Badge. Very rare to find both in one image!
